Streaking Day 462: 10 mile run in Republic, MO. I very much enjoyed the energy return of my new shoes today. My last pair had over 1000 miles on them which likely contributed to that energy return feeling I experienced out there today.
Today at my 5 mile mark I encountered a vehicle of a local resident with a Confederate Battle Flag mounted to it. I experienced myself getting pretty triggered by this site. My guess is that this person is attempting to be bold in the midst of this flag trending as a conversational item. I personally think such a move is a the move of a jackass. I experienced a strong desire to have a conversation with this person to explore what is motivating this display. I also experienced a strong desire to grab the flag and throw it in the ditch.
